Our first view of St. Peter’s on the way in

One feeling I’m sure of is gratitude. I’m blessed with enough time and health to take on a challenge like the Via Francigena. Even more, I have a partner similarly blessed with time and good health and willing to commit to such a rare adventure. And we haven’t been alone on the Via. Our family and friends have supported us and cheered us on. And we’ve made new friends along the way from many different countries. We have some idea how lucky we are, and we are grateful.
